Eastover is a community in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was created by the E.C. Griffith Company in 1927. Eastover has about 550 households.
Eastover is sometimes known as “Charlotte’s Elite Automobile Suburb” due to the fact that it was the city’s first community to have an all-automobile neighborhood during the 1920s and 1930s. The homes in this area possess vintage styles like Tudor Revival, Georgian Revival, and ranch-style. There are a few homes that have modern styles as well. If you enjoy works of art, then you can visit the Mint Museum on Randolph Road. It happens to be North Carolina’s first art museum; its amenities include global art, a museum shop, a theater, and a library. Village Square Shopping Center is a quaint shopping plaza on the corner of Providence Road and Altondale Avenue. There, you’ll find dry cleaners, a few restaurants, a day spa, and more. Randolph Road Park is a must-visit for athletic types. It has soccer and baseball fields, plus walking trails and a batting cage. Another park you can visit is Edgehill Park. Edgehill Park has 5.3 acres of space that contains a playground, a tennis court, and a picnic area. When you want to get out of the house for a while, there’s Ovens Auditorium. This facility showcases live shows, music concerts, comedy acts, and much more. Eastover has one elementary school.
Eastover real estate properties include townhouses and single-family residences. These Eastover homes have three to five bedrooms and two to six bathrooms. Typical Eastover properties measure between 2,000 to 6,000 square feet. Some homes come with cool amenities like grand staircases, high ceilings, laundry rooms, and private backyards. Open lots are also available if you prefer to design your own home. Make the decision to move to Eastover. This historic gem is friendly, artsy, and is close to shopping, dining, and entertainment.
